Is it normal for your period blood to be bright red and heavy on your last day of your menstrual cycle?

My period just finished about a day or two ago, any chance i will get pregnant on the 8th/9th day of my menstrual cycle?

You tell us: You are asking the wrong question. We cannot possibly know when you ovulate in your cycle. The period is meaningless in this question. Ovulation is the cornerstone of your menstrual cycle and at 23. I would hope you know this and know when you ovulate. Sperm cause pregnancy if left in the vagina on any or all the five days before ovulation are the sperm that will cause pregnancy. ...Read more

I uses nuvaring the 1st day of my menstrual cycle which was July 20th left in for 10days, then took out. Period is late, is this normal?

I uses nuvaring the 1st day of my menstrual cycle which was July 20th left in for 10days, then took out. Period is late, is this normal?

Confusing: If you put the nuvaring in on July 20th, then took it out early on July 30th, you still would just this week be due for your next period. Since the nuvaring contains hormones, your cycle may be thrown off. If you are having sex, you should be using condoms and/or another form of birth control. ...Read more

Good to check: Most urine pregnancy tests will be positive 4-6 weeks after your last menstrual period, which may be about 2 weeks after ovulation (usually about 2 weeks after the first day of your period). Not every episode of unprotected sex will result in pregnancy. The $10 pregnancy test from the drugstore is the same as a hospital urine test. ...Read more
