Stretch and hydrtate: There are many causes of muscle cramps. With this happening during exercise, the two most likely reasons could be tight muscles and/or electrolyte imbalance. I would suggest stretching before and after your workout. Also, make sure you hydrate well. Maybe, but not nice!: Tina, It's common to have this, and you should be evaluated by your pediatrician, possibly by a gyn. If unable to tolerate an internal exam, a pelvic sono can be done to exclude any serious concern.
Usually this responds to NSAIDS, and/or oral contraceptives.
So, while this may be normal, it doesn't mean you have to put up w/it. See someone, and do something about it.
