No: Your ovaries are likely still working. Many people seek solutions for mood and stress via ovarian hormones. You could get a serum fsh that can tell if the ovaries are functioning, but serum testing can reveal fluctuations. Do you grind teeth when sleeping? Treating with hormone replacement sometimes helps but is not helpful long term. It's a hard time. If you've had depression before you may need treatment. Solving one problem at a time helps.
