Several things!: Mainstay of treatment is low salt diet. If this is ineffective, salt-flushing diuretics are prescribed. For acute episodes, Meclizine (antivert) and benzos such as valium are helpful, along with anti-nausea meds. For severe, refractory cases, surgery may be indicated.
