Mobic (meloxicam) & Aspirin: Mobic (Meloxicam) is an NSAID like Celebrex, (celecoxib) Motrin, Aleve, Diclofenac, etc. Has your kidney function been checked regularly these past 2 years?
Normally folks aren't hungry with GERD symptoms. Usually complain of nausea, indigestion, burning in throat, and chest, etc. Unfortunately taking NSAIDs predisposes you to GERD symptoms. Try to keep NSAID use to bare minimum. ...Read more

Meloxicam is a prescription med. Aleve (naprosyn) is OTC does not need a doctors prescription
Meloxicam does not upset the stomach as much as Aleve but maybe not as strong an antiinflammatory as Aleve.
