Diba not knw im preg for 3 weks n tht 3 weks Ben taking meloxicam 15 mg daily, does it mean something wrong on my baby now? Or its not yet late?

Meloxicam – Mobic (meloxicam): Is FDA pregnancy category C during the first 29 weeks of gestation & category D starting at 30 weeks gestation. Under procedures you ask if you should increase your dose of mobic (meloxicam)? Don't increase mobic (meloxicam)- stop the mobic (meloxicam) now. The risk with mobic (meloxicam) is greater in later stages of pregnancy. This doesn't necessarily mean that harm has come to your baby. Just let the doctor know at 1st ob visit. Be well. ...Read more

Hey I just wanted to ask if someone takes two 5 mg of endones and two 5mg of targin and 4 Mobic (meloxicam) 15 mg in the spam of 3 hours what can it do to you co?

Nothing good: Endone is brand of Oxycodone, opioid or narcotic medication. Targin is brand of combination of Oxycodone plus Naloxone, used to treat opioid overdose. Mobic (meloxicam) is brand of NSAID, pain reliever, similar to Ibuprofen. Maximum dose of Mobic (meloxicam) is 15mg daily so 60mg in 3hrs is considered an overdose. Nothing good comes from overdose. Call 911 or your local emergency response service. ...Read more

Arthritis: Sulfasalazine is used primarily for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis or ulcerative colitis. Mobic (meloxicam) and advil can be used for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis. Not sure what your condition is, but I would not take advil and Mobic (meloxicam) as those are same class medications. Sulfasalazine is sulfa based drug and is somewhat different from advil and mobic (meloxicam). ...Read more

What might be the possibilities when ur 3 week pregnant and I'm taking meloxicam 15 mg daily?

Meloxiam: Stop the meloxicam / mobic now since it is FDA pregnancy category C during first 30 weeks of pregnancy and then becomes category D. Meloxicam / mobic can increase risk for miscarriage and for premature closure of ductus arteriosus. This doesn't necessarily mean that there has been harm to your fetus. What is safest to take arcoxia 120mg every 4th day or daily meloxicam 15 mg. For pain maintenance. Taking arcoxia tooks 4 days effect.?

Stay with one: Don't take both just a daily dose of one nor the other. Arcoxia is less likely to irritate the stomach as it is what we call a COX-2 inhibitor. At your age it is safer to take either since there is less likelly to be an effect on the kidney function and blood pressure, since these medications suppress prostagalndins that maintain kidney function more often in older people. ...Read more

Were hoping tht I will be pregnant but I'm taking meloxicam 15 mg daily. Does it impair?? Even if im taking it does I have a change to be pregnant?

Stop meloxicam: The US Food and Drug Administration has various categories detailing the effects of medications in pregnancy on the growing fetus. The FDA has categorised meloxicam as a class C medication for the first 29 weeks of pregnancy, and a class D drug after that. A class C drug is a medication for which there have not been any human studies of adequate quality demonstrating the effects of meloxicam on the fetus, but animal studies show that there may be harm caused by this medication. However, the certainty of harm to a human baby is not known, because animals may be affected by medications in a different way to humans. A class D medication is a drug for which harm has been demonstrated to a fetus due to a pregnant woman using that medication. For women looking to conceive, there has been some evidence that meloxicam along with other NSAIDs causes a delay in ovulation, which is reversible when you stop taking it. ...Read more
