Melatonin Overdose In Children
Melatonin: Can accumulate in the liver with long periods of high dosage. Am not sure what the potentially lethal dose would be, since many pills do not contain as much active ingredient as they say they do. It can also interact with a variety of prescription medication and supplements, which would make it potentially toxic at lower or shorter doses. ...Read more

Difference in side effects of an adult taking adderal for ADHD or adult taking phendimetrazne?Do they do the same thing for concentration? Dangerous?
Amph. like: Phend. Is an amphetamine-like weight-loss stimulant with a side-effect profile very similar to true amphetamines. It has been used for adhd but is much less well studied for that (off-label use). People with the same condition do tend to react somewhat differently to similar medications so there can be reasons for using the one in preference to the other. ...Read more
I was given an overdose of magnesium while in labor.Could the magnesium cause behavioral issues in my child?
Wouldn't think so: The magnesium is in & out of your body in hours and out of babies body in hours to days. If the newborn was so floppy/weak breathing was impaired it would be an overdose in the child. However, this is not known to be a toxin to the nerves that develop and influence behavior in a kid. The high blood pressure you had that led to the med would be more of a worry than the med itself. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Overdose is 50-500 mg/kg and may include dilated pupils, seizures, hallucinations so you should be okay. ...Read more

No: According to all studies so far, any antipsychotic used for the purpose of treating behavioral problems or psychosis related to dementia is associated with earlier stroke-related death. This occurs regardless of the antipsychotic and the dose. There are some studies that have shown some antipsychotics to be safer than others (like quetiapine) but those studies are small and inconclusive. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
