I recently had stitches after a margin of skin was removed due to melanoma. My upper stitches have been removed but I still have the disintegrating ones and the area where they are is in so much pain I don't know what to do.?

Why are you waiting?: Melanomas grow and eventually metastasize. If you have a known melanoma it should be surgically removed as soon as possible with appropriate margins. If I had a shave biopsy and the underlying skin wasn't brown does that mean the melanoma did not spread down into the lower skin?
