Finished medrol (methylprednisolone) a day ago. On azythromycin feeling fatigue and loss of appetite. Normal side effects or either medications?

Finished medrol (methylprednisolone) a day ago. On azythromycin feeling fatigue and loss of appetite. Normal side effects or either medications?

Not usually but: Medrol (methylprednisolone) tends to stimulate and increase appetite but azithromycin may upset your stomach to cause a loss in appetite. The fatigue however may be from a letdown from Medrol (methylprednisolone)'s stimulant effect. I presume that you had not been taking Medrol (methylprednisolone) for more than a week. If you had been taking Medrol (methylprednisolone) for months. Contact your doctor or go to ER immediately since this may represent a transient adrenal failure. ...Read more

Took 3 medrol instead of 2 just started dose was suppose to take 2 three times a day?

No worries: If a person is supposed to take 2 pills 3 times a day, and instead takes 3 pills, then 1 pill, then 2 pills, that should be ok. Taking 3, then 2, then 1, should be ok also. Her total dose for that day would still equal 6 pills. ...Read more
