Common problem: Sjogrens is an autoimmune disease, and there is a higher occurrence of other autoimmune diseases, such as autoimmune thyroiditis. Usually this results in hypothyroidism, but can also involve hyperthyroidism with a graves disease picture. You should be seeing a rheumatologist and endocrinologist. Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) should not interfere with thyroid medication. ...Read more
