Will I get any medicine for pain when I go for the uterine ablation?

Yes.: Endometrial ablations even when done in the or with a general anesthesia, can hurt. Best to be prepared and even with a good cervical block (local injection), have Codeine or vicodin or percocets available for when your anesthesia wears off. On the flip side, I've had patients need almost nothing. Good luck. ...Read more

Uterine fibroids-non-malignant. Are there any cures by alternative medicine?

Uterine fibroids-non-malignant. Are there any cures by alternative medicine?

Not that I am: Familiar with. If the fibroids are not causing heavy bleeding or pain, live them alone. Otherwise, there are non surgical options like uterine artery embolization which ccuts off the blood supply to the fibroids and causes them to shrink. There is also a procedure using focus ultrasound to treat fibroids. This is being done at several centers in the us with mayo being a leading one. ...Read more

Will my dysfunctional uterine bleeding ever regulate, im23yrs old & ttc, is dub normal? Cant afford a dr visit :' (can drug & alcohol cause this?

No: Drugs and alcohol don't typically affect irregular bleeding. Irregular bleeding is typically caused by extremes of weight (thin and heavy), polyps or fibroids in the uterus, or hormonal imbalances. Also thyroid or pituitary can play a role. It's difficult to assess if you can't see a doctor. The one thing you can control is weight, diet and exercise. Consider planned parenthood, they may help. ...Read more

Husban sperm count 60 sperm motility 90 normal form 9%elongted 2% small absent acrosomes 5% other abnormalities 84%good for intra uterine insemitation?

Yes: Yes good for iui, but if that is his consistent result (on two tests), and the cervix is normal and you are not using Clomid (clomiphene) as a stimulation drug for fertility treatment, there is no good evidence that IUI actually increases pregnancy rates. Iui became popular as a treatment to balance the negative effect of Clomid (clomiphene) on the cervical mucous. Now with newer drugs not so necessary. Good luck. ...Read more

Does a uterine polyp 3 weeks prior of embryo transfer could cause a healthy blastocyst with no chromosomes abnormalities not to implant?

My wife got 4 fybroids just outside her uterus she is going to be operated in first week of may. Which medicine she should use to relieve her pain.

Post-op pain control: After surgery, patients will usually use pain medications recommended by the surgeon. This may include an anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen and a narcotic such as vicodin or percocet. The goal is using enough pain medication to help with the pain but one that minimizes any side effects. Narcotics will often cause constipation, so using a stool softener during this time may be helpful. ...Read more

I have a bicorneate uterus and have miscarried 4 since. I have gotten clean from drugs and alcohol. Will I be able to conceive? Or no?

Bicornate Uterus: Only your gynecologist can examine your uterus and determine the chamber sizes. This is the single most important determinant of your chances of carrying a pregnancy to term. With the history of 4 miscarriages, it would seem that your can cues are lower. A simple surgical procedure - a hysteroplasty - may help. Consult your gynecologist. ...Read more

I am 26 years old & recently I got periods but my uterus size is so small. How to increased uterus size with help of medicines or any other treatment?

I am 26 years old & recently I got periods but my uterus size is so small. How to increased uterus size with help of medicines or any other treatment?

Why?: Do you really mean your uterus? The uterus remains very small unless you get pregnant and there is no easy way for you to know the size of your uterus except by physical exam, ultrasound, or other imaging scan. While there are some hormones that will affect the size of your uterus they would be dangerous for your health and would provide no benefit. See a doctor 1st menses at 26 is very late. ...Read more

I am 28 yrs old. My uterus size is 4.3*1.9cm. I have my periods only if I took medicine. Can I conceive.

Three things: 1. In order to get pregnant you have to ovulate. With irregular periods this requires testing. 2. Your partners semen has to be healthy. 3. There has to be an open pathway through your Fallopian tubes to allow the sperm to reach the egg. All of these can be tested if you are having fertility problems. ...Read more

I have UTERUS WITH POSTERIOR WALL FIBROID. Can fibroids be treated with medicines alones? What is the medication? I am trying to avoid Hysterectomy.

No medical treatment: Hysterectomy is one option for treatment of abnormal bleeding due to fibroids. The other options include surgical removal of fibroids, embolizationof fibroids by an interventional radiologist, ultrasound ablation of the fibroids by an interventional radiologist, and endometrial ablation. The size, number, and location as well as other health factors determine the best treatment for you. RU486 may help ...Read more

Can fenugreek & cinnamon drinking help in cleaning uterus after a week of a missed abortion (in the 7th week) beside misoprostol medicine?

Not likely: Not sure what you mean by cleaning out the uterus. This is a common thing I hear women talking about. If you're concerned there is retained pregnancy tissue then a prostaglandin like Misoprostol or suction D&C are the best options. I do have some women who use fenugreek to increase milk production. Never seen it or cinnamon used for a missed abortion. ...Read more

Since 2015 CBC tests MVP 7 & platelets over 400 continuously. NO uterus I eat healthy drink H2O exercise don't smoke, drink or do drugs. Is this odd?

Not really: It's not rare, not dangerous, and usually we never find an explanation. It seems unrelated to anything. Just follow it. Your physician will decide when to check for for a possible mutation that drives essential thrombocythemia -- but the best rule is probably, "If you aren't going to treat it or do anything different based on the test results, don't do the test." Best wishes. ...Read more

See answer: 4 year hx of symptoms indicative of a chronic problem. Possibilities include: endometriosis, chronic pid, uterine abnormality, or very likely a chronic "pain syndrome" such as interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome (urinary urgency, frequency, bladder discomfort) or chronic pelvic pain syndrome which can be a symptom of another disease, or it can be a condition in its own right. ...Read more
