Stress makes my upper back, shoulders, neck & jaw uncomfortably tight & causes tension headache. Best non-drug ways to de-stress and get relief?

Stress and tightness: When we get stressed we tend to tighten up our bodies. There are a lot of muscles in the upper back, shoulders and scalp that are affected by stress. Relaxation techniques help reduce muscle stress on the body and head. Slow and even breathing exercises help reduce stress. Yoga, Tai-Chi, and other exercises also can help. Likely not tumor: Given your younger age and type of symptoms currently displayed, a brain tumor is less likely. It depends on the frequency and severity of symptoms, but you might consider requesting your doctor to order an MRI brain with and without contrast (it provides better detail of the brain than does the ct).
