I have a reoccurring rash that has been treated in the past with Nizoral (ketoconazole) and ketaconozole. Is there something OTC I can get to replace?

Suppose you have something else? Then you will find best relief by using whatever is indicated for that diagnosis. I suggest you consult a skin DR (dermatologist). ...Read more

Alternatives (if you have not tried them) are selenium sulfide or salicylic acid shampoos. As with many long term treatments, it is usually best to alternate use of different types so that the scalp does not develop a resistance (or tachyphylaxis) to a single agent. Good luck! ...Read more
