Drug Test: He will have no problem if he took a medication he has a prescription for, he just needs to show the prescription to the drug test center. If he does not he may have problem. I do not know specifically what it will show as but it will not be a false positive. Best thing to do is tell them before the test he took this medication. Not recommended: Metaxaolne is a pretty strong muscle relaxant that can cause sedation. Ativan, (lorazepam) as a benzodiazepine, is also a strong muscle relaxant and sedating medication. Using the two together can cause severe sedation and their side effects can compound. If you have been prescribed both, stagger the dosing to avoid these compounding side effects.
