Will singulair (montelukast) help prevent an asa allergy?

Can help symptoms: If you mean, does taking singulair (montelukast) help prevent symptoms from Aspirin sensitivity in people known to have this problem? Yes, it can. It doesn't always work, but sometimes it works beautifully for this. If true allergy to aspirin, no worries because they are totally different. If pseudoallergy to asa (google it), no prob because singulair (montelukast) doesn't work like asa. ...Read more

Painful sinus headache, wheezing non productive cough, fatigue (fever one week ago), am on rivaroxiban, asa allergy what pain meds can I use?

Reconsider diagnosis: There is such thing as simopulmonary syndrome, that is something upper respiratory or sinus can cause bronchospasm or asthma. Proper antibiotics if needed after reexamination can be considered, and of course treat the bronchospasm. Pain med? May help, but don't mask all symptoms, treat the cause. Obviously Acetaminophen is safe. ...Read more
