Medicine For Liothyronine Allergy
I've allergy appear when not sleaping early, I did tsh analysis was slightly high, two other times was in range and t3, t4 with in range, what my ttt?
? reverse T3: Slightly elevated TSH in the presence of normal T3 and T4 suggests a higher than average level of reverse t3. T3 is what's actually used by cells for metabolic activity; it's produced from T4 passing thru the liver. The average person makes only about 10% reverse T3, but if you make more than than you'll have subclinical hypthyroidism with normal T4 and T3 values and slightly elevated TSD. ...Read more
Allergies occur when your immune system is triggered by envirionmental factors it should ignore--for example, pollen in the air, or dander on a cat or dog--and creates cells to fight against them. An allergic reaction typically causes itching, congestion, or drainage, and ...Read more

I am 24 years old and my TSH3-UL is 10.459, while T3 (liothyronine) and T4 are normal as i am taking medicines. what should be my next step? Please help
Not the best: All of the major professional societies for thyroid specialists, the endocrine society, the american thyroid association, and the american association of clinical endocrinologists have issued formal statements indicating that levothyroxine is the best choice for most patients. Both armour and thyrolar (thyroxine and liothyronine) provide too much T3 relative to t4, making it very difficult to keep tsh, free T4 & T3 normal. ...Read more
Hi, what is TSH and if T3 (liothyronine) and T4 are normal but TSH is higher what is its effect? Any recommendations for medicine.
Whats a better hypothyroid medicine. cytomel (liothyronine) or levothyroxin? i am on levothyroxin but heard it only raises t4 and not t3
Hypothyroid: Relax! Just make sure that you are taking the correct dose of Levothyroxin. As you begin thyroid medicine, you should have your doctor check your T4 every month or so until you and the doctor are convinced that your levels are OK. Won't take long to decide. ...Read more

Hello i had tyriod function test my T3 (liothyronine) /3.12 and T4 /155.82 TSH /0.66 do I have to do surgery or it can cure by medicine what should I do .
Appear normal: Did you mean T4 15.82? What is the unit of measurement in your lab? Even if you had abnormal tests that doesn't usually lead to surgery. Unless one has a large goiter that is putting pressure onto their throat or has 'nodule(s)', lumps within the thyroid gland that are suspicious for cancer, surgery is not needed. If there are such nodules they need to be biopsied with a very thin needle. (fna bx). ...Read more
T3 (liothyronine) is 600 , T4 is 24 , TSH is 0.014 cause hyperthroid. How to treat them operation or medicine?
Low TSH hyperthyroid: The low TSH did not cause hyperthyroidism, but is evidence of hyperthyroidism. In consultation with your doctor, the cost for the hyperthyroidism should be determined. That will help delineate which type of treatment is necessary. In very rare cases hyperthyroidism could be evidence of thyroid cancer, and obviously surgery would be warranted. Most other cases are amenable to medical treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had TSH 0f 7.43 in january. Two mo. Later and no medicine its 5.2. Normal T3 (liothyronine) & t4, no antibodies. Should i take medicine if it consistently goes down?
My TSH is .005, T4 free is normal (1.41) T3 (liothyronine) is high (245) & T3 (liothyronine) Free Serum high (5.8), TSI normal, do i need treatment asap? drugs or I-131?
Needs watching: I have seen this often and with hyperthyroidism the free T4 is almost always elevated so your normal level is reassuring even though the T3 (liothyronine) is a bit high. If you don't have a large thyroid or symptoms such as rapid heart rate and sweating, Often the TSH will return to normal on its own and if the next free T4 is high you can be started on medication then. ...Read more
