Is the 10mg bentyl (dicyclomine) causing itching?
I've suffered from allergies all my life. Will bentyl (dicyclomine) make me itchy & if it does should I stop?

I'm taking Nexium (esomeprazole) and bentyl (dicyclomine). I see a small rash/hives on forehead but nowhere else on body, no other signs. How likely is this allergy?
Dicyclomine: The usual starting dose is 10 to 20 mg four times a day, with the maximum dose being 40 mg four times a day. You should not change your dose yourself from what your doctor prescribed. Us it okay to take Dicyclomine 10mg if your also on 12.5mg of atenolol. Both were prescribed by different doctors. Gastro has my history of drugs.

Yes with care.: Dicyclomine can slow bowel function down and so can hydrocodone and thus the combined effect of the two medications when used together can be constipation. Thus and if both are in use, i would be careful and watch out for slowed bowel function that can lead to constipation.
