Some thoughts.: That is not a very abnormal bloood pressure but if it is auge change from previously then that is significant. Also, the pulse rate would often rise if the bp is low (for you). Also lightheadedness from low bp gets worse with standing and the bp dips with standing. ...Read more

You need to consider: Iif you have pre-eclampsia/ eclampsia. Are you overweight? Aldomet (methyldopate) in the US is quite obsolete and drugs with a similar action include clonidine and guanfacine. The latter is 1X daily. But is your blood sugar high and being checked? This is a potentially serious matter. Talk to your doctor and bring up these points!
