You need to consider: Iif you have pre-eclampsia/ eclampsia. Are you overweight? Aldomet (methyldopate) in the US is quite obsolete and drugs with a similar action include clonidine and guanfacine. The latter is 1X daily. But is your blood sugar high and being checked? This is a potentially serious matter. Talk to your doctor and bring up these points!
