Acrocyanosis: If oxygen level is normal, acrocyanosis is normal, although at 7 month it is unusual, unless the room the baby is in is cold. We usually examine the tongue; if the tongue is blue, that is more serious. The pediatrcian listens to the heart and lung carefully. Acyclovir : If you can find Acyclovir (Zovirax) over the counter in the pharmacy, great. If not, a trip to the MD can accomplish the same task. Keep in mind that the medicine doesn't "cure" Herpes. It only shortens the time of the appearance on the skin surfaces and therefore the pain.
