Correct diagnosis: First, are you sure that this is the correct diagnosis? I find a torn hip flexor to be a relatively uncommon injury, although certainly possible. If after 10 months, it is still painful then an MRI or follow-up MRI could be helpful to assess for healing and rule out other causes of pain. If really the hip flexor, then a platelet-rich plasma injection could promote additional healing. ...Read more

Don't Fear The Clear: Get thee to a gun store or on the internet and find out what it takes to get "medically cleared" to own a gun or rifle in your state (let's forget about bazookas and RPG's). There are different criteria for different situations (e.g. fire fighter, police, schizophrenic, mass murderer,etc). Then see if you can get a doctor to sign-off on them.
