Is it safe to take mebendazole if I am already taking finasteride?

Is it safe to take mebendazole if I am already taking finasteride?

Drug interaction: The epocrates database reports no interactions between Mebendazole and finasteride. I do have to wonder why at age 22 you would be taking finasteride, which is usually used for diseases of old men (like prostate enlargement or prostate cancer).

Ill take mebendazole 12 days before can I take again tommorow.

Ill take mebendazole 12 days before can I take again tommorow.

Yes: I assume you were taking it for a pinworm infection. The reason why it is the same dose independent of body weight is that it is very poorly absorbed by humans. There should be no toxicity to taking it again in twelve rather than 14 days

Wondering why is the dose for mebendazole the same (100 mg) for 130 pound adult and a 30 pound child?

Wondering why is the dose for mebendazole the same (100 mg) for 130 pound adult and a 30 pound child?

Absorption: Mebendazole is not available in the U.S. Since it works in the gut on the parasite and is only 5-10% absorbed, doses are fixed based on the parasite being treated and so is the duration. Suggest be careful in the prep u take if purchased outside U.S. Pharmacy.
