What is the rationale of bulpurphine in management of opiod dependence?N its combination with naloxone
For Opiate Addiction: Suboxone contains Buprenorphine plus a short acting opiate blocker called naloxone. Buprenorphine is a semi-synthetic partial opiate agonist. That means, it has very unique properties compared with other opiates like hydrocodone and oxycodone. Suboxone can take away the cravings for opiates so the addict can work on figuring out why he or she takes opiates in the first place. Suboxone saves lives. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Yes, : Yes, once exogenously administered erythropoietin is stopped, assuming that the patient's kidneys are normal (where erythropoietin is primarily made), they should resume making erythropoietin on their own. Neuropathy: after dealing with thousands of cases of "leg pain", my guess is that you have a neuropathy. the problem I have seen is that when the testing comes back normal, i.e. nerve conductions studies and EMG, they assume nothing is wrong. "junk" science: There is little or no evidence that human beings require any such thing. Our lungs, skin, kidneys, liver and gastrointestinal systems remove toxins quite effectively and excrete them from the body. In addition, I haven't seen a SINGLE randomized controlled trial looking at the effects of these "detox" regimens on human health. Some of them can be quite harmful, even life-threatening. ...Read more
