Probably Not.: I don't think so but other forms of TB are contagious so I would use careful contact precautions and hand washing until it is properly treated. Shave biopsy-Mole?: It requires experience and good judgement before a mole is considered for a biopsy. There has to be sufficient risk of the mole being a Melanoma. Indiscriminate excisons are wasteful of resources. So I do not think this procedure should be done by a PA or any physician other than a experienced Dermatologist.
