Add healthy carb: Gluten free does not mean compete carb free but veggies and fruit - fresh produce and dairy as fermented products ( Yogurt , Kefir) , low fat cheese, Avocado, nuts. all these foods supply good energy and balanced carbs and protein. Fully disagree: There is NO solid evidence anywhere that gluten causes Alzheimer's disease, and there is NO relationship with Celiac disease and dementia, but Celiac disease does cause a Peripheral Small Fibre Neuropathy. We have some anecdotal cases of gluten sensitivity affecting MS indirectly, and maybe transient worsening of other conditions, but no Alzheimer's links. ...Read more

Eat healthy : Alternatives. Try snacking on carrots, celery, pickles, cherry tomatoes, fruits. Even pretzels can help since it's hard to eat too many pretzels! if you fill yourself on healthier snacks it will be easier to fight the junk food cravings.
