Uncertain: I disagree with some aspects of recommended treatments such as coffee enemas for detoxification purposes. I find no convincing studies proving benefit. In general, a working liver and healthy kidneys take care of detoxification quite admirably. Regarding cancer rates. Looking at leukaemia in califnornia vs. Nv. In la county it is 11/100,000. Clark county it is 19/100,000. Is this a big deal?
Most likely not: Epidemiology (study of disease in a population) is tricky. Both rates quoted are very small so a doubling is very likely not a concern. Also, when comparing two areas and a very specific disease, you really should adjust for age, gender and ethnicity.
