Has the skin changed: Look carefully at the skin of your nipple. Is it red, crusted, cracked, bleeding, feel harder than the surrounding areola (colored part around nipple), have a lump, or an ulcer? Any of these visible skin changes required a trip to your cancer doctor. Without ANY visible changes, dry skin or a minor fungus infection is possible and may get better with a cream.
