Get it checked: Since you know the sizes it sounds like you have a doctor following this. Most ovarian masses are cysts, but you need to know what it is. See below: Ultrasound may evaluate the ovaries to better advantage when compared to ct. Occasional a small mass in the ovary may not be visible on ct. Also a ct study without contrast (dye) enhancement may not evaluate the ovaries well. ...Read more

Need more info: Although it can happen, spread of a colon cancer to the ovary after her resection seems unlikely. Follow up with the cancer specialists and ob/gyn.
