Seek a better test: Abdomen is better visualized with a ct scan or MRI of the abdomen. Ultrasound is a good screen and is useful when it shows no abnormalities. Without images, difficult to tell, but some things in the differential are: duplication cyst, ovarian cyst, mesenteric cyst.

Depends: If this is colon cancer, it all depends upon how early it was caught. If caught early, it's possible that the cancer can be completely cured with surgery.
