I am a 55 yo F living in WA and have Barrett's esophagus. Would marijuana use 2-4x/year increase chance of esophageal cancer?
No: there is no evidence that marijuana usage increases the risk of esophageal cancer. It would be even less likely, given the infrequent nature of your usage. You should follow your anti-reflux regimen closely though, given that you have Barrett's esophagus. I had a seizuire in october, now one yesturday.I was wondering if it is possible marijuana caused it, though i don't smoke everyday just here and there?
Doubtful: I have never seen a relationship between cannibas and seizure risk. Doesn't mean it couldn't occur but but would have to be in close proximity to the event. Get on some seizure meds for god sake if u have not yet. May be anti-aging if: There is evidence that marijuana can have powerful anti-aging properties, esp, for the brain but also the skin, but many of those benefits might be counteracted by smoking it.
