Injury from tree between neck and shoulder, severe pain, stiff neck, red itchy rash burns when touched and swollen lymph nodes? Been to chiropractor

Injury from tree between neck and shoulder, severe pain, stiff neck, red itchy rash burns when touched and swollen lymph nodes? Been to chiropractor

See a physician: Nothing against chiropractors but the rash and lymph nodes are not in their field of expertise and should be evaluated by a physician. If the chiropractor has been unable to help with the neck and shoulder discomfort i would take any imaging he/she has done and seek an opinion for an orthopedic doctor. Could be just soft tissue injury or maybe a small fracture. Please see an md for evaluation. ...Read more

I have a rash on my chest. Red and bumpy also itchy and spreading quick. Burn to itch? No fever? What could be going on?

Hives: Sounds like hives versus contact dermatitis. Try non-sedating antihistamines and over the counter topical anti-itch cream to see if that helps. Will work for either. Just know that higher doses than simply one tablet of the antihistamine are usually needed to control the itch. I often start off with twice daily dosing and increase as needed to control the hives. ...Read more

I have itchy skin every where no dry skin and when it itches it starts to burn and get red but no bumps or rash what is this ?

I have itchy skin every where no dry skin and when it itches it starts to burn and get red but no bumps or rash what is this ?

Well: It gets red and itches then goes away, no rash or bumps. It could be a rash or what is called idiopathic urticaria, release of inflammation due to stress. Oddlly enough sometimes an h-2 bkocker like tagamet for the the stomach can help. It may be allergic reaction or something else and i would not avoid seeing a doctor. I would trey Benadryl at night and tagamet is pretty cheap. Look up idiop. ...Read more

Red itchy rash under breast and groin area it looks like sun burn with bumps. I'm itchy all over but no rash other then those areas. What can this be?

Red itchy rash under breast and groin area it looks like sun burn with bumps. I'm itchy all over but no rash other then those areas. What can this be?

Yeast infection?: If you are overweight, the areas under the breasts, the love handle, and the groin are more susceptible to candida infection. If this applies to you, try to keep these areas dry by using antiperspirant . In the meanwhile try some anti-fungal cream on the areas for a few days. If still not improved after a week, see you doctor. For overweight people, losing some weight should be a long-term goal. ...Read more

I have a red rash that has not gone away and is very painful, itchy and sometimes burns?

More info needed: Hi TNathan skin rashes can be due to many causes. A dermatologist would need to review the following information - whether you have had skin problems before, have other illnesses, have a family history of skin disease, exposure to foods, allergens(new soaps, detergents etc) poison ivy, metal and any other symptoms you may be having. Then the rash would need to be examined thoroughly. ...Read more
