What is bilateral focal involvement of the lateral plantar motor nerves at or distal to the superior border of the medial malleolus bilaterally?
4 month old closed displaced medial malleolus o right tibia currently non union misdiagnosed initially should i still be weight bearing which is painf?
Fix it.: If you have a displaced medial malleolar fracture that has not healed (in part likely because it is displaced). You might want to consider having fixed with the very real likelihood if returning to full activity by 8-12 weeks. At 22, you are too young to not have it corrected and to have to live with any long term restrictions. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My tibialis posterior tendon has come out of its groove behind the medial malleolus is this even possible?
Anything is possible: This would be very uncommon. The tibialis posterior tendon is held in place by a very broad, strong compartmentalized ligament. It is possible you have ruptured the tendon or ligament. Do you have weakness on that side? Are there any other symptoms. Posterior tibial dysfunction is a serious problem. You should have a professional exam and imaging if necessary. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I broke my medial malleolus 17 days ago and i m having surgery for screw fix in 5 days, on 30th of may I am going trip@ rome, will i walk normal then?
Maybe but...: Your bone healing will be well along, but you did more than break the bone. There is ligament damage that will take time. I would plan on packing a good ankle support for your trip, and do proper motion, strengthening and rehab exercises as soon as your doctor allows, but not more than allowed. Too much too soon not good. Take very good athletic walking shoes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I met with an accident 25 days back. i got medial malleolus fractured and i am taking natural treatment here. but also in x-ray their is no improvment?
Patience: I am not sure what natural treatment means but you need to remember that the X-ray results are actually 2 weeks behind what is actually present. If you are being careful not to injure it again, keeping it elevated to reduce swelling , taking some extra calcium and wearing the splint, if you got one, then you just need a tincture of time to get well. ...Read more
