The yeast are always present in poo & with normal hygiene practices, the male genitals & surrounding skin are too dry to promote their growth. Uncircumcised males are a bit more prone to infection under the foreskin &must make an effort to clean more surfaces>hair has no effect on yeast growth in general. ...Read more

Pain not normal: It's common to get itchy fungal rashes in your groin (tinea cruris or "jock itch"), but they shouldn't make your testicles hurt. Testicular pain in young men can be due to infection (usually gonorrhea or chlamydia) or to torsion (twisting). If you continue to have pain, you should see a doctor again. ...Read more
Could be: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well. ...Read more

It is unlikely that yeast infection will cause pain behind your belly button. I will suggest you consult your medical doctor to find the cause of pain behind your belly button radiating to groin.
You will need a detailed history and physical exam and if indicated blood and urine test and may be imaging like cat scan. ...Read more

Jock itch?: It could be a fungal infection, but more likely a "jock itch" than a yeast infection - and unlikely to be related to the recent course of bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). Being treated for BV and Yeast Infection. Developed bright red flat spots on groin area. Also have rash on entire body. What could be causing this??
Drug allergy?: There are many possibilities, but I would guess an allergic reaction to one of the treatments you are receiving. Can the rash on my vagina be from my yeast infection? Also have a node in my groin that's hurting and swollen?? Haven't had sex in 7 months
Probably not yeast: Yeast generally does not cause lymph node inflammation. A new herpes infection would be a consideration if the rash has blisters or open sores, but unlikely with no recent sexual contact. Depending on the nature of the rash, perhaps a bacterial infection like staph or strep. See a doctor and take it from there. Good luck. ...Read more
