Hi. Male and 40. Couldn't orgasm tonight. Recently went to ER for uti and dehydration. On Bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) trazedone, and Prozac. Do these drugs cause this?

Possible: Both Prozac (fluoxetine) and Trazodone can cause decreased libido as side effects. You are taking two antidepressants. Not clear why this is necessary. Yes they both could: Dehydration or volume depletion can cause symptoms of lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea, and headache. If you are exercising it is recommended to stay well hydrated. UTI typicaly will not cause headache unless you are very sick and have nausea and vomiting which would lead to you becoming dehydrated. ...Read more

Not an STD: Dehydration would not do this. STDs must be on your mind, by your topic tags. But it doesn't sound like any STD. Intermittent symptoms ("random", "off and on") often are psychological. Most penile skin problems are standard dermatology problems that can occur anywhere but happen to involve the penis. But best to see a doctor at a time you're having symptoms; better safe than sorry. For the future and for anyone reading this post, if you are given antibiotics for a severe infection and are unable to tolerate anything by mouth, compounded by pain that is 10/10 then this situation requires prompt medical attention.
