Dr. Lane C. Childs answered:

'06-Diagnosed w/prostatitis. '11-Testicular/groin dull aching but urol. found nothing serious. '13-Intermittently, the dull ache is back. Thoughts?

Prostatitis

Groin
The chronic time course of your symptom description certainly sounds like chronic prostatitis. Lifestyle behavior modifications, dietary factors, hydration status, and even stress have been implicated in this condition. Have an examination by your doctor to make sure it is not something more serious requiring urgent attention.

For years tested positive for micro-hematuria. Prior MDs thought no issue. New primary wants renal US and urol. consult. Is this necessary?

Maybe not

Urine
Microscopic hematuria is not uncommon, and may be benign, hereditary, acquired, or associated with other local or systemic conditions. Ultrasound is not usually revealing as a first evaluation. If not a tobacco user, & no history of kidney stones, I'd recommend screening by a Nephrologist for blood and urine tests, then Urologic evaluation if negative. US, cystoscopy, and even biopsy may be needed

Dr. Dareen Siri answered:

I have a very slight symptoms of allergy on pollen. Can i use Q Urol (witch contains bee pollen) and can this cure help me with ED caused by CPPS?

Bees, pollen allergy

Most people with pollen allergy are allergic to wind-borne pollen such as grass, tree and weed pollen. Their seasonal allergy symptoms are not due to insect-borne flower pollen. This bee pollen does not help seasonal allergy sufferers but may have other health benefits. I would recommend seeing your urology MD for ED and CPPS as it is not related to allergies.

Dr. James K. Kuan answered:

Do a majority of urology doctors treat premature ejaculation? Also, are there specialists in this field that are certified doctors (general hospitals) that fall under most PPO health insurance that are not the Boston Medical Groups or other commercially b

Yes

Falling_backwards
Most general urologists are familiar with evaluating and treating premature ejaculation, and can point you in the right direction if other expertise required. Contact your insurance company for a list of urologists covered by your plan

Dr. Paul J. Turek answered:

What should I expect at my first urology appointment?

Depends.

Depends why you are going. Urologists tend to have great personalities and are alot of fun, as far as doctors go. Try to learn as much as you can about yourself. ALso, watch this video before you go to get a sense of what kind of people go into urology: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhwLZHYPue4
