What to do if I am full crossdressers most weekends but don't want theropy or that but can a male get female breast implants and still b a man?
I have had the opportunity to work with several men interested in breast implants (to feminize the chest wall). This is a different situation from trans gender patients in transition and from men who are looking to augment their chest walls (pectoralis implants).
This subset of patients is somewhat uncommon; very important to understand patient motivation clearly and to advise carefully... ...Read more

Age is a state of...: This has no definitive answer and is open to highly charged opinion. A 90 year old on the beach with large visible implants wearing a bikini will be the subject of conversation and derision but you can't deny her joie de vivre. Depending on overall health & ability to tolerate surgery, implant size and intended goals (reconstruction vs augmentation) the choice is an individual/personal one. ...Read more
I am researching about breast implants and the size I want is e and I'm already a d. I need more information, price, ect.
Follow up is key: The long term risks of breast implants are the need for follow up. The primary danger is neglecting them. Implants are very simple machines, essentially inflatable bladders which can fail. As a foreign body, they present the same risks as many other implants with scarring or infection. When any of these situations occur, treatment should promptly follow with relatively few long term consequence. ...Read more

What size you would like your breast to be after breast augmentation will be a very personal decision for you to make. I would suggest that you look at pictures and see what size of breasts you find attractive. The use of “sizers" under your bra may also be helpful.
Then, careful selection of plastic surgeon and careful communication of your goals will also be key. Again pictures help... ...Read more
What happens if one of my breast implants hardens and the other doesn’t? Do both need to be removed?
Implant won't harden: Implants don't get hard, ever. But the scar around them can tighten, thicken, and make the breast feel quite firm (capsular contracture--cc). When cc occurs, it can be due to an old silicone implant rupture (the newest ones don't leak and rupture rarely), bleeding around one side, bacteria (not infection) around one side, such as from dental work, etc. If old replace both. If new, correct the cc! ...Read more
If breast implants are removed, what is the probability a lift will be necessary? Implants were size 395
If you had a nice breast shape before you had implants - with no droop - then the odds are good that you can avoid a lift, if you have normal skin elasticity.
But if you had pre-existing droop, have droop now, or just have decreased skin elasticity, you may well benefit from a breast lift. ...Read more
What are the real risks of breast implants? What are the typical risks associated with getting breast implants?
I had breast implants because it was suggested that it would improve my confidence, thus making me happy. Neither of these things happened. Should I get them removed?
Not right away: Hopefully you took plenty of time to research your decision for breast implants with a full and clear understanding of the expectations. Confidence and happiness can be elusive in many people. While cosmetic surgery can help boost confidence, it certainly is not a prescription with guaranteed success. Before considering implant removal speak with several health professionals seeking sound advice. ...Read more

Breast implants are the most studied thing we surgically place in a body today. The institute of medicine study, and now over 400 peer reviewed studies show that silicone implants are safe. If they were not, we would not have them in the office. They are not permanent devices. Ask your local board certified plastic surgeon. They should be able to answer your questions.
