Type one diabetic male, 59 yes old. Swollen ankle(only one) after having plantar fasciitis . That us gone but swelling remains...2-3 months now?

Depends on cause: If the swelling resolves overnight, this is most likely due to venous insufficiency. Elastic stockings are best long term remedy. Elevate legs whenever possible.
