Both of these are fda pregnancy category b (which means there aren't known problems w taking while pregnant), this means that it is likely ok to take minimum effective dose. Vicks? Yes: Did you mean to say Vicks cough drops? Those contain menthol as a topical treatment for the throat. There is no medical reason why you can't use that during pregnancy. Like all medications in pregnancy, however, you should only use it for the time that you really need it. Overall - be as healthy as you can! Eat well, drink lots of water, take your vitamins and any other meds your obgyn prescribes, don't start any new and dangerous hobbies... Most of it is fairly common sense.
