Then wearing mascara and eye makeup that flakes/ particles can get in the eyes, under the contact lens, and irritate the cornea and conjuctiva. See your eye doctor soon to discuss. Need to talk to eye: doctor. I would ask that to your opthalmologist. I feel that there is more a chance of you going blind wearing contacts. The oxygen is important and the new contacts are gas permeable. But....... I would not take the chance of infection or keratitis and go blind. Best wishes. ...Read more
