Likely esoph reflux: Duration of symptoms? Minutes, hours, days?At age 23 unlikely to have a cardiac cause. No use of street drugs, cocaine, excess energy drinks? Most likely: If Asthma has been rules out, costochondtritis is more likely. The condition is common in young females. You can use OTC anti inflammatory meds to relieve ain intermittently. Hope you feel better! ...Read more

Reassurance: If dr visits, labs, ekg have shown no specific abnormality, the pain is most likely muscular which would go along with the DX of fibromyalgia. The location if the pain can cause concern because everyone reads about those locations as the signal for a heart attack but in reality, muscles can hurt in that area without a cardiac cause. You were right to get it checked out. ...Read more
