Yes: I recommend everyone take 500-2000 mg of Vit C twice a day and if you have an acid problem it's wise to take a buffered form like calcium ascorbate. You should not have any difficulty tolerating this.

It does not seem to be more bioavailable (available for use by the body) than other forms of vitamin C supplementation. There is also the down side that it contains sodium.
