Are all supraclavicular lymphnodes considered virchow's node, or is there one particular node that is virchows node.
Virchow's is cancer: If everybody with a palpable supraclavicular node had a Virchow's, it wouldn't be a helpful term. Virchow's is a dominant lymph node above the medial left collarbone from malignancy that's gotten there via the thoracic duct. It's obviously very abnormal. Nothing: This marks some of the normal lymphocytes in a healthy lymph node. Any pathologist worthy of the name will have given a diagnosis -- malignant or not, or under further evaluation, need more studies.
