I've got lymphedema. Lymphedema is not draining much especially around abdominal area. Are there any good yoga poses for lymphedema drainage?
First try: The traditional treatments , measured eastic bandages elivation , edema pumps etc, advise from your doctor , including physical thrapy. If there is infection to eliminate it( treat ) , then if you want and if you can do try 'shirashasana' for couple of hrs stay on your head with legs up in air . Med Supply Store: What you may be looking for are graduated compression stockings. These are not the generic support hose bought at a drug store although they can be very helpful. For lymphedema a heavier stocking is usually required and needs a prescription designating the pressure of the stocking needed,eg 20 or 40 mmHg pressure. Compression: Lymphedema is cause impaired circulation of lymph. Normally the compression of muscles propels the lymph through lymphatic system, however if the is obstruction it need extra help. My legs and feet have been swollen for over a year. I have just been told that I have lymphedema. The only thing about that is that I have a terrible shooting pain. What should I do?
Most commonly: Cause by removal of or damage if lymph node by cancer. Do you have cancer or cancer treatment? Symptoms are tightness and aching/discomfort, decrease range of motion, hardening of the skin, infections. Cancer, infections like parasites, surgery and congenital causes. See your doctor.: Low level zerona laser is unlikely to cause the symptoms you describe, even if they seemed to coincide with zerona treatments. At least you had good fat loss, but your other symptoms are probably from something else going on with your medical health.
