I've been always able to feel my armpit lymph nodes, they are smaller than 1cm none of them is big im underw8, movable. Is this normal?
Various things: Lymph nodes enlargement can be caused by various reasons- among them would include- infection (especially in the arm pit- infection of the root of the hair is common), inflammation, wound/trauma/scratches etc, malignancy - for instance- spread from adjacent organ like breast, or lymphoma etc. Infection would be the most common, see your doc and have yourself checked. Feel them: Place your finger tips into the arm pit the area closer to the chest than the hand. Deep palpation with a little pressure the nodes will feel like a soft pea if they are swollen. Sometines they are hard. If you do feel nodes have your doctor check as well Read more

Armpit lymph node painful for two months, it is small and moveable and I can feel other lymph nodes around them too but only one hurts.?
For the last week I've had a pain in my left armpit. Now it's severe pain. I can barely move without it hurting so bad. Could it be lymph nodes?

Yes: This is suggestive of some inflammation going on evoking an immune response. Can't tell what is causing it however. Do you have any symptoms otherwise? Breast cancer is always a concern especially with females. However at your age this is not high on the list. The evanescent nature of the enlargement also speaks against it. Read more
