Can a left ear melanoma give swollen lymph nodes on both sides of the neck, on the back of the head left side and also on the top of both shoulders?

Certainly: Melanoma can travel anywhere in the body, no matter where it originated. So, yes, a left ear melanoma can travel to lymph nodes in your neck (cervical nodes) on both sides, including the top (supraclavicular) and bottom (infraclavicular) areas of the collar bones.

I suddenly have a lump on the side of my face. Can this be caused by head trauma? Hit on top of head, lump in front of left ear. Swollen Lymph-nodes?

Any: Inflammation can cause swelling of the lymph nodes. Most likely the contusion to the head caused inflammatory reaction. Which lead to the swelling if the nodes. Keep an eye on the swelling. If things change. See your doctor

See a physician: Sounds like posterior occipital lymphadenothpy (a swelling of lymph nodes around the posterior ear and base of the skull): must be seen and evaluated.

Need to see Doc.: Nose sores could be from infecctions, some people are carriers of mrsa (staph) and this may need to be eradicated. Dry mucus may be another reason. Need to use saline nasal lavage and avoid irritation of nasal passages. Wheezing may suggest that you have allergic rhinitis together with bronchial asthma. Lymph nodes depending on its location are also of concern, that's why you need allergist/lung sp.

Is there lymph nodes on ur head?

Is there lymph nodes on ur head?

Yes, several places: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well.

Where are lymph nodes in head located?

See below: The head and neck has a very rich network of lymph nodes. Most are in the neck around the jugular vein, but extend down to the collar bone and are also under the jaw. Nodes may be found in front or behind the ear and occasionally in the very back of the neck (occipital). There are may other places that noses rarely show up (in the face for example.).

Can shaving your head cause your submadular lymph nodes to swell?

No; another cause!: The submandibular nodes will swell if you have a sore throat or a dental infection. Shaving your head should have no effect on these nodes.

Can lymph nodes swell up with a head cold?

Monitoring Centers: The lymphatic system absorbs and carries things too big to go into the arteries and veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. A lymph node "tastes" the lymph to see if anything bad is there like bacteria, viruses, cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and enlarges in response to the inflammation they create when they react. You can feel them then.

Does lymph nodes go to the back of you neck or head?

Does lymph nodes go to the back of you neck or head?

Lymph nodes: Yes there are lymph nodes in the back of neck and head. These are normally not palpable unless there is an infection in the scalp or part of neck lymph glands are like filters and are spread all over the body and if parts of body get infected the infection can spread in the nodes. So same thing can happen in the nodes in back of head and neck.
