Have cold. Stuffy head/runny nose and sore throat. Can feel a lymph node on left side of neck which is a little tender. Is the node just from the cold?

Reactive lymph node: It is not uncommon to have enlargement of one or several lymph nodes around the head and neck area when suffering from an infection such as a cold. The inflamed lymph nodes may increase and fluctuate in size over a few days and be quite painful. They typically become less painful and smaller 1-2 weeks after the infection. Large (> 2 cm) or persistently growing nodes should be evaluated. ...Read more

I have swollen lymph nodes, runny nose, frequent cough, and high fever and weeze noise In lungs, what could this be?

Probably cold or flu: Probably just a bad cold or flu. But with "high fever" you need to contact your doctor. Maybe s/he will want to examine you to check for bronchitis or pneumonia that might need an antibiotic. If chills, shortess of breath, if you cough up any blood, or if you have other lung disease like asthma, do it now, even though it's Sunday pm. Otherwise it should be safe to wait until tomorrow. Good luck! ...Read more

Dr. Can check it out: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants.
