See answer: Very common, and more the rule than the exception, nowadays for current imaging studies (ct, ultrasound, mri, etc) to detect and report what are clinically insignificant findings. The question is which findings may be potentially significant and require follow-up imaging in a 3-12 month time span to look for any change in size/appearance. Best to ask your md who ordered the scan re: follow-up. ...Read more
