Likely not Lyme but: The most likely explanation is that this is just a bruise, unless you've been hiking in deer tic infested forests recently. I would discuss with your primary doctor who can test you for Lyme if he/she thinks it is possible. ...Read more

Blood: Usually bright red blood results from hemorrhoidal bleeding and is less concerning than a darker, purplish jelly like blood which stems from higher up. See a doctor today.
