Nondiagnostic: Has a physician examined you? It is unusual for enlarged,tender lymph nodes to occur con only one side of the body with a systemic disease. Where in your body are the lymph nodes? I'm being treated for Lyme with doxycycline. I am very fatigued and i also have a sunburn- like rash on the back of by hands and tops of feet. Normal?

Allergic reaction: You may well be having an allergic reaction to Doxycycline and should go back to your doctor and stop taking any more of the doxycycline. Lyme disease can be treated with Ampicillin or amoxicillin. Go see your doctor asap. ...Read more

Spinal symptoms: I agree that an MRI and EMG are the next studies needed. Your symptoms sound suspicious for spinal cord issues. You may need a spinal tap, looking for signs of inflammation. Myelitis is inflammation in the spine. A ganglionopathy can also cause these symptoms, particularly when taste is affected, with numbness.
