M 20 yr female TB lymphadenitis.prescribed R-cinex:Rifampin 450mg & isoniazid 300mg & pyzina 1000mg. Ethambutol not prescribed is my treatment correct?
TB treatment : we usually use Ethambutol as part of this regimen in case the TB is resistant to either Rifampin or isoniazid. If your doctor already knows which drugs the big is susceptible to, or if resistance rates are very low in your area, leave out the Ethambutol may be the correct treatment. You should discuss this issue with the prescribing doctor. ...Read more
Normal bacteria: I doubt you "suffer" from either of these bacteria. Both are entirely normal in the genital tract. "Biovar" is a technical term that doesn't mean anything here. U. parvum is the same as biovar 1, and U. urealyticum the same as biovar 2 -- just different names for the same things. They rarely if ever cause symtoms or disease and no treatment is necessary. Don't worry about it. ...Read more

Puedo dejar de tomar alprazolam esta noche y comenzar manana con clonazepan? Podria tener efectos secundarios?
Dose Dependent: Switching to a long-acting benzodiazepine like Clonazepam from an ultra-short acting benzo like Alprazolam is common-place. You usually will not have withdrawal effects (depending on the initial dosage of alprazolam), but it may take a bit longer to fall asleep with the clonazepam. Unclear treatment: If you and your wife’s tests are all negative indicating no infection then it is unclear to me why antibiotics were given. Doxycycline and Zithromax in those doses are standard treatment for chlamydia yet both of you were negative. Treatment should not be based on WBC alone especially given that you have no symptoms. Clarify the underlying problem trying to be addressed please. ...Read more

Mycoplasma: It is estimated that we average one infection with this organism every year of our lives. The titers you quote are not significant for reinfection because they are only one dilution removed from each other and therefore may actually be the same value. Do not know who is treating you but suggest you see an infectious diseases or pulmonary expert. You also need immune function tested. Good luck. ...Read more
