Not commonly: A simple medscape search shows that it's not a known adverse effect of clonazepam (Klonopin), risperidone (Risperdol), or fluvoxamine (Luvox). I've not seen it in my clinical experience either as a result of these medications. Both: All ssri are relatively equivalent in effectiveness and have similar side effect profiles. In my experience its hard to predict ahead of time and its hard to really do side by side comparison because of timeframes. Use a measure like the yboc and compare. Side effects may make your decision easier but work with your loved ones and treatment provider. ...Read more

I'm in the U.S. Is luvox still prescribed in 2015?? Hearing two different stories that it is and isent. Want to maybe try luvox or effexor (venlafaxine).

Yes: Cross tapering medication is recommended. Meaning the old medicine is tapered down while the new med is tapered up. Has to be done by professional as the rate of cross tapering varies. Also meds being cross
